The Modern Chekhov
Idea Arts & Culture
A Black Mirror style anthology series that sets the great Russian short stories in present-day America, with new characters every episode. Turgenev's district doctor practices in rural Pennsylvania, Gogol's clothing-obsessed government employee becomes a single woman in Chicago, and Chekhov's runaway mother leaves Los Angeles for San Luis Obispo.
